Formed back in 2004, Muzzi Racing is the second incarnation of a team whose progressive motorcycle racing ethos is centred around looking good. Race results typically come a distant second to upsetting the noise meter and/or eating breakfast.
Newly reborn again in the 2008 season, the team competed in the Earlystocks championship somehow finishing third in the 1300cc class. This championship is for twin rear-shock, air-cooled, production based racers that are from before 1990. Typically, race day grids include bikes such as Suzuki GSX1100's, Kawasaki GPz750's, Yamaha RD400's and yes (now) even a Guzzi...
Rider line-up 2011 - Ian O'Reilly
Despite pressure from works teams in WSB and BSB, amazingly Muzzi Racing have retained a rider of such "qualities" as O'Reilly again for 2011.
Ian comments, "after the luck/success in 2010, I am really looking forward to working with the team again in 2011, I can see no reason other than a fundamental lack of talent that would prevent some class wins in the coming season"
Ian's wife comments, "he is an idiot...."

Technical Director - Dr Andrew Harris BSE
Andy "Chisels" Harris is the team's crew chief/head of technical development, and has been locked in the clean room throughout the winter.
Speaking recently to Motorcycle News, Andy commented on his unique brand of rider motivation "I just write in marker pen "go faster" on one fork top and "you twat" on the other".

Headline sponsors 2011 - RGK Limited
Muzzi Racing are proud to retain RGK as headline sponsors for the third season running in 2011. In a recent interview with Steve Parrish of BBC Sport, RGK Group Chairman Sir Gregory Eden (who is a former olympic athlete and head of the Brownhills Space Programme) said, "wot the f*ck are we doing messing around wth bike parts, we have 300 orders to get out of the door this month!".
